So yes I realize I haven't blogged for a while. it's just been so crazy--as many of you know. We are now here in California and for the most part enjoying ourselves. The routine is different and for sure the apartment living is different. I would actually love to know how long you can go with out internet. i thought since this was a temporary home that i could do without--what a joke. (That actually could be a great excuse for not blogging-no excuses i know)
I would love to show you all the great pictures of our adventurous move out west, but well I don't have any. What a bummer. I guess it just went by so quick and now i want to say painless but i know at the time i was feeling all frantic. Like when I got to Nashville and all I had in hand were a couple of backpacks i felt like I was missing something(oh like maybe a 26 foot truck of all my stuff and my husband) So luckily we made it to Gramma's just fine only to feel like we were on vacation. Especially with fun crafts with Karen. Which ended up costing some wee hours of the night driving so that we could beat Jammy and Chad to Visalia. Another shout out to Chad for all the help and to Lisa for letting us have him for a week. Thanks again guys and now you know how much 'absence makes the heart grow fonder'.
There are great benefits of apartment living--the POOL!! the kids have swam everyday since we got here(they will say "everyday but sunday" which i just consider common sense). They are becoming little fish. Ellie can swim without plugging her nose which is a HUGE deal for her. Karson we have to keep a close eye on since he hasn't figured out the doggie paddle but thinks he's invincible. The funniest thing to me is that despite the spf 50 i cover Karson in he is soooo tan. Not me I even burned my legs--wow that's wierd.
So the job is fabulous!!! I mean fab-u-lous! What a change from school, we actually sometimes eat lunch together--now that's just wierd!
So i have great ambitions of taking pic's around town to share all the similarities and differences, so wish me luck. I guess i feel like if i announce it that it makes me committed you all.(or maybe it just will get me some pestering and reminding then i will feel pressured into doing it and that some how motivates me) Ok i am tired and rambling off to bed.
