Other things.....

Other things besides the house really do happen around here--though not many. We are anxiously awaiting the 6th for our final walk through of the house and we will sign papers some time the next week, and get keys on the 13th---duh duh FRIDAY THE 13th!! I think moving for Valentines Day sounds splendid! I am hoping that will give me the excuse to put out the heart decorations for a week or two--oh what little things make me happy!

So back to the "other" things that happen around here. We had a great time on our visit to Utah--minus the snow--I really don't know how I survived all those years growing up. I guess now that I know how great it is to not have to have snow clothes and be bundled up all the time--just makes enduring the snow that much worse. I was so happy to get back to the beautiful 60's here in California.

Another thing that I really shouldn't share but just have to is this---




IT"S A BOY!!!! I am so sure he is not thrilled with me posting this on the internet for all of you to see--but I just had to share the news. I have to add that in my old age I have lost my motherly sense of knowing what I am having. I was right with both Ellie and Karson--and since this pregnancy has been so much like Ellie's I totally thought it was a girl. As you can very plainly see for yourself I was dead wrong! So I have learned a great lesson(however short lived)to just keep it too myself.



He gave us the thumbs up so I guess no hard feelings--sweet boy!


There are surely many "other" things to share, like my new calling to laurel advisor--terrifying-- and my world record of the latest Christmas present ever mailed--sorry Morgan's. And so forth and so on that will have to wait until next time. Until then Jammy will surely keep you posted on the house--he's such a good blog buddy!
