The beginning of the end!

So today's the day-the official start of clinics. Which means one --JUST 1--more year and we are done. After looking at the clinic calendar it may be worse than I expected. There are on call days, sometimes twice a week. There are emergency night shifts, no sleeping allowed, and the day starts at 7 am and ends no earlier than 7 pm. WOW!

I am so glad I got some pictures of Jammy the other day when he dressed up to go to a dinner for all the scholarship donors. A few students were chosen to go and represent the scholarship recipients.

What a hottie!

The other great pictures I have are of Ellie. She lost her first tooth. She cried at first-- oh

how she cried but then she couldn't stop smilng

and laughing. Daddy numbed her up with some stuff the dentist gave us that morning at her teeth cleaning. The dentist said it was ready and to just flick it and it would come right out. Well it wasn't that easy. We pulled and pulled and wiggled and wiggled. Then it finally started to come and so did the blood and then so did the tears. After some calming down she finally looked in the mirror-- then came the smiling. We didn't get a very good look at the tooth, it was under her pillow in about 30 sec.

The permanent tooth is already through the

gum so it won't be a hole for very long, but it sure is
cute like that. The good news is the other one is
loose too.

I sure wish I had some pictures of Karson to share but he has been sick and uncooperative--not necessarily because of being sick. Maybe next time!

Looking good, James! I don't know if Dan cleans up that good; it's been too long. Those toothless pictures are darling--what a cutie.
